David Berman Communications

David required business cards in several languages because he shares his knowledge and experience through keynote speeches and courses around the world. A percentage of his cards are brailled and the challenge was to come up with a solid layout where the braille would not interfere with the small text or the logo when it was applied but the card would still look good without it. David has several versions of the two-sided bilingual cards – English is paired with French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Norwegian, Hebrew, Korean, Inuktitut, Arabic, or Chinese. To add to the complexity of the cards, some had to accommodate an FSC logo or a QR code. Plus David had the top right corner clipped on cards with a QR code to let visually challenged people know where it was located so they could scan it with their smart phones to access his information. He coined it the ‘Berman Corner’. It was the most complex set of business card I have ever designed. I also designed a two-sided letterhead, that when folded, highlighted his last name in large bold letters that could be seen through a transparent business sized envelope.
