I had the good fortune to work with Leslie Bell (marketing and communications) from when I began my design firm in 1990 until her retirement in 2011. So I was very pleased when she asked me to submit a proposal to work with her again on a book celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Riverside Country Club in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Even though I am not a golfer, I knew the club and found its history fascinating, especially the photos. Author, Lori Harvie, has an engaging writing style that keeps you turning the pages. There are 136 of them divided into ten chapters, one for each decade, filled with photos and stories spanning its 100 year history.
